Right now, I'd like to plan at least one every season, so maybe a getaway retreat will be in the cards soon. It'll definitely be a test to keep the technology from encroaching though. I think I'll actually unplug the phone and the modem. I might need to turn on a computer if I want to listen to any music, since I think all of our music players are digital. I was in high school at the time! My parents thought I was crazy. But it was amazing. I had the hermitage overnight and spent the time wandering the grounds and journalling. I also met a wonderful woman who was staying at another hermitage on the grounds. I highly recommend taking a night somewhere away from home as the technology and demands are just too tempting if you stay. I can't wait to hear how yours goes!
