Researching stables may be more boring than researching tourney info, but it should be noted that 99% of a sumo wrestler&#039;s matches are fought in the stable, making it the most important sumo venue of his career. Actually going to watch the practices is fascinating, as each stable has a different style. Some are remarkably laid back in tourney time, others are not. And very few stablemasters like photographers - seeing how they scream at the media is a sight to behold!</description>

Seemed a genuinely nice guy and said he loved to go out partying with the other Russian guys (who were fired about two months later). His oyakata was a really nice host too - he defeated Chiyonofuji once, you know!!</description>
